Minutes of Ghana Union General Meeting, June 27th 2020, held at Medborgaplatsen

The president opened the meeting by welcoming all and reading through the agenda for the day. Covid-19 fundraising finally landed at 5400 kr and in total 17 people contributed. Money deposited in the account of the embassy.

Deliberations about the budget for the Grill had mixed feelings. 2500 kr was suggested to cover the cost. Social distancing procedure will be planned for the elderly. Responsibilities were sheared among us.

Compiling of new membership list was agreed on and to be distributed to members.

President narrated little about Black Life matters. That generated many unwanted debate which went far from the day’s agenda.

The meeting agreed that we must strive to bring together if not all, at least some of the unions in Stockholm. The meeting agreed to work towards this goal.

Meeting ended when Shafio moved a motion to that end.
