Ghanaians in Stockholm celebrate the memory of Kumah's father: Family members, friends, well-wishers and members of the Ghanaian community in Stockholm gathered at Husby träff over the weekend to celebrate the memory of Opanin Kwadwo Mensah, father of Mr and Mrs Kwasi Kumah, who passed away in Ghana last year. Many friends of the Kumahs living in London came with their families for the function. There was a lot to drink and eat and the dancing went on till the early morning. The large hall was filled to capacity reflecting the increasing number of Ghanaians in the Stockholm municipality. It was a typical Ghanaian funeral celebration set against the European backdrop as many of the ladies turned out gorgeously dressed in the latest Ghanaian fashions. It was an also an ocassion to meet friends one had not seen for a long time. |
