Turkson's moder-in-law laid to rest

The burial took place on Thursday, the 18th of March, of Madam Ingrid Kristina Johansson, mother of Barbro Turkson, who died at an old people's home in Brobygården in Lanbro, Småland. The deceased was also the mother-in-law of Mr Anthony Turkson whose family members are all strong members of the Ghana Union in Stockholm. The late Ingrid was 88 years old. She is survived by two daughters and several grandchildren. Present at the burial were members of the family including a daughter resident in Dubai, friends and well wishers. Anthony and Kwamena Turkson were among the pall bearers in the solemn and quiet burial ceremony. Ghana Union was represented by Union President and personal friend, Suberu Salam and Atta Mensah.

Ghana Union says Damirifa due to Barbro and Anthony Turkson as well as the entire family in their moment of sorrow.
