Anna Carin Asp of LAFA har gjort sitt

After 20 long years with Lafa (Landstinget förebyger Aids), 11 of which were spent as chief, Ann Carin Asp now retires. Carin fought a lot for sexual equality, prevention of and support of those who were affected by sexually infectious diseases. She, and others like Olle Waller and Gunilla Ekman at LAFA, assisted both Afris and Ghana Union in their Hiv/Aids projects in the African community.

Suberu Salam and Grace Mahama, representing both Afris and Ghana Union, were at the send off reception. Grace Mahama, Vice President of GUSS, presented a bouquet of flowers to the retiree. She also received an African lady mask with the unique Black Star of Ghana embossed on it.

Gunilla Neves Ekman will take over the leadership at Lafa.

Anna Carin Asp, Afris and Ghana union wish you well in all your future endeavours and good luck.
