Aku receives Ambassador of Peace prize
| Mrs Angela Aku Tarras-Wahlberg, an active member of the Ghana Union in Stockholm, was presented with the Ambassador of Peace Prize at a ceremony in Oslo, Norway, on August 9. The award was given by the Norway-based Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in recognition of Aku's immense efforts in humanitarian work towards world peace. Four other recipients from around the world were also awarded on that day. In her acceptance speech, Aku dedicated the prize to her late parents and brother. The ceremony was attended by representatives from different countries including Ghana and Sweden. GUSS congratulates Aku on her achievement. |
