| Big party marks Ghana at 50 celebrations in Stockholm: It went |

beyond the wildest dreams of the organisers. Rinkeby Folkets Hus was fully packed with people. Most of them were non-Ghanaians but they had all come to celebrate the golden jubilee of the attainment of our independence. There were cultural groups from Guinea, South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda and our own Agoroma and Hedjole. The crowd fully appreciated all the performances. The Ugandan

The dancing went on all night |

| dancing went home so well that they got two encores. There was a fashion show of African dresses by African Design, a talk on Aids prevention and a raffle where three people each won an iPod donated by Western Union. The newly posted South African ambassador was there but there was no representative from our embassy in Copenhagen. The food was great, there was a lot to drink and even though people did not get enough place to move around, they still danced the night away.
