| AFRIS elects new officials: Afrikanska Rådet i Sverige (AFRIS) elected |
| new officers for a two-year term at its end of year meeting held in March. Rishala Njie retains the post of chairman of the organisation. The new executive contains three members from the Ghana Union in Stockholm. Suberu Salaam was re-elected secretary. Grace Mahama was again entrusted with the treasury and George Adu-Boahene continues his work as group leader in the organisation. Ghana union is one of the most active member organisations of AFRIS. |
