Ambassador visits
Finland with delegates from Ho Municipality
Ghana's ambassador designate to
Finland, Ms Amematekpor, visited Jarvenpaa, Finland and had discussions
with the Ghana Union executives there. It was Friday, August 25th
and the occasion was the visit of a four-member delegation from
Ho, Ghana, who were in Jarvenpaa to strengthen sister-city relations
under the North-South local government co-operation program of
the Finnish government. The president of the Ghana Union in Finland,
Mr Samuel Anini, led his executive to welcome the delegation. Mr
Anini promised to work closely with the ambassador and offered
her the full support of the union in Finland.
The delegation
from Ghana was led by Mr Mawutor Goh, Ho Municipal Chief Executive.
